How to request deletion

To delete your Jeev account and the personal data associated with it, send a request by email. Write to contact@udgamai.com from a device that can receive a verification request, including:

  • Subject line: “Delete my Jeev account”.
  • The phone number associated with your Jeev account (with country code).
  • Your display name in the app, to help us locate the account.

To protect your account, we will verify ownership of the phone number before deleting any data. We action verified requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:

  • Your phone number and authentication record.
  • Your public profile (display name, avatar, and rescue statistics).
  • Your incident reports, adoption listings, comments, and resource suggestions.
  • Photos and videos you uploaded.
  • Your push-notification (FCM) device token.

What may be retained

A limited set of information may be retained after deletion:

  • Anonymised analytics and crash data that cannot be linked back to you (retained indefinitely).
  • Records we are required to keep by Indian law, or that are needed to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our Terms — kept only for as long as legally required, then deleted.

Deletion timeline

Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
